उण्णी का नैवेद्य 🙏 | जब भगवान ने भोग खाया | गुरुवायूर कथा

गुरुवायूर के मुख्य पुजारी का बारह साल का बेटा उण्णी, एक दिन पिता की जगह भगवान को नैवेद्य चढ़ाने बैठा। उस भोले मन को पूरा यक़ीन था कि भगवान सचमुच खाएँगे। (Unni, the twelve-year-old son of Guruvayur's chief priest, sat one day in his father's place to offer the naivedya. His innocent heart truly believed God would eat.)

भगवान ने नहीं खाया... उण्णी रो पड़ा। फिर थाली ख़ाली हो गई। जब पिता का हाथ उठा, गर्भगृह से नन्हे कान्हा की आवाज़ आई: "इसे मत मारो। वह नैवेद्य मैंने खाया है।" (God did not eat... Unni wept. Then the plate was empty. When his father raised his hand, little Kanha's voice came from the sanctum: "Don't beat him. I ate the naivedya.")

एक भोली-सी पुकार ही काफ़ी है, गुरुवायूरप्पन दौड़े चले आते हैं। (One innocent call is enough — Guruvayurappan comes running.)
