ഭഗവാനെ തള്ളിമാറ്റി! 🙏 വില്വമംഗലവും അനന്തൻകാടും | പത്മനാഭസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവം

പൂജയ്ക്കിടെ കുസൃതി കാട്ടിയ ഉണ്ണിയെ വില്വമംഗലം സ്വാമിയാർ ഇടംകൈകൊണ്ട് തള്ളിമാറ്റി. ആ ഉണ്ണി സാക്ഷാൽ ഭഗവാനായിരുന്നു!
(During the puja, Vilwamangalam Swamiyar pushed away the mischievous little boy with his left hand. That boy was the Lord himself!)

"എന്നെ ഇനി കാണണമെങ്കിൽ, അനന്തൻകാട്ടിൽ വന്നു നോക്കൂ!"
(“If you want to see me again, come and look in Ananthankadu!”)

ഊണും ഉറക്കവുമില്ലാതെ അലഞ്ഞ സ്വാമിയാർ ഒടുവിൽ ആ കാട്ടിൽ കണ്ടത് അനന്തന്റെ മേൽ പള്ളികൊള്ളുന്ന മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിനെ. ആ അനന്തൻകാടാണ് ഇന്നത്തെ തിരുവനന്തപുരം എന്നാണ് ഐതിഹ്യം.
(Wandering without food or sleep, the Swamiyar at last saw Mahavishnu reclining on Anantha in that forest. Legend says that Ananthankadu is today’s Thiruvananthapuram.)
